Livin' & Workin' on The Space Coast

So yesterday as I was getting ready to leave work and I heard one of my co-workers say the shuttle just passed. I didn't think much of it. So I grab all of my stuff and tell everyone bye, then head out the door.
As I step out, I hear this loud noise. I t sounded like a big plane, so I turned and looked up. 
There, right to the east of me is a GIANT plane 
with the Space Shuttle piggybacked on it's way
home. I tapped on my boss' window to let them know to check it out. A bunch of my other co-workers filed out to see. It was really pretty darn cool. 
And it was really really close, less than a half mile I'd say, flying right along the coast line. Unfortunately my cell phone was still in the car on the charger, so I didn't get a picture of it.

Florida Amendment 2

Yay Obama!
I am however, disappointed in Florida's results.
Prop 2 should not have passed.
If two people love each other; black & white, girl and girl, boy and boy, boy and girl...
then why the hell can they not get married.
There is supposed to be a separation of church and state in this country.
It's the uber conservative churchies that are trying to "protect marriage" as a union between a man and a woman in the eyes of God with state laws.
I find that unconstitutional.
Seperation of Church and State Poeple!!!!!
If God made us all, made everything, then why don't they see that God must have made gay people too.
And dammit, they deserve to get married and be miserable like the rest of us.
Protect Familes not Marriage!
This country frustrates me to no end.
Proud to be an American?

I haven't voted since Clinton was elected the first time.
That was also my first time voting.
I won't forget this time. We really don't need another Bush.
